We invite you to know the city of Barcelona and the surrounding area. For a week, you will enjoy not only of the charms of the old city, where you will see the most beautiful and iconic sites, but also that we will travel to Girona called “Florence of Catalonia” and Figueres, where Salvador Dali was born. Visit the museum which houses largest number of works of the artist. We will also guided visit to Montserrat. Free time you can take advantage for sightseeing, relax at the beach or shopping in La Roca Village Outlet.
Day 1: Barcelona
The staff of NESKA TRAVEL will greet you in the arrivals hall of the airport of Barcelona. Transfer to hotel in Costa Brava, accommodation and dinner.
Day 2: Barcelona
Guided tour of Barcelona with coach transfers. The visit includes walking down Las Ramblas: one of the most popular and picturesque streets of Barcelona that begins in the Plaza Catalunya and ends at the monument of Columbus. We continued walking through the Gothic Quarter, we will visit the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia, Seat of Government, and Plaza Real. In the Paseo de Gracia we will admire the architecture of Gaudi visiting the Casa Mila popularly known as La Pedrera and the Casa Batllo.
Transfer by coach to visit the Sagrada Familia, architectural pearl of the city, visiting its interiors, know the history of its construction, secrets and mysteries. After a walk through the Park Guell, is where you will find the symbol of Barcelona’s famous Gaudi Dragon Source. Continue the visit by Avenida Diagonal to the mountain of Montjuic. There you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Barcelona. On Montjuic way we will make a stop at the Camp Nou stadium that hosts matches of the first football team of FC Barcelona. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. After dinner you can enjoy a flamenco show.
Day 3: Montserrat
Breakfast. Today we visit the Abbey of Montserrat, traditionally considered the most important and significant mountain in Catalonia. In this mountain stands the sanctuary of Montserrat Benedictine monastery dedicated to the Virgin of Montserrat and seventeenth-century basilica of the Black Madonna. Montserrat is the second place of pilgrimage in Spain after Santiago de Compostela. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Girona i Figueras
Breakfast. First we visit Girona and from there continue to Figueras. Girona, – “Florence of Catalonia”, with its unique monuments in Europe: Carolingian wall, the Jewish Quarter, the Cathedral with the widest nave in the world and its impressive staircase, are reasons why Girona is after Barcelona, the city most visited in Catalonia. In birthplace of Salvador Dalí, Figueras; we will visited its museum which houses largest number of works of the artist. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5-6: Free days
Free time it can take for sightseeing, relax at the beach or shopping in La Roca Village Outlet.
Day 7: Departure day
Departure day. After breakfast we accompany them on the transfer to Barcelona airport.
