Spain is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the east, the Cantabrian Sea to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the south. Its coastal beaches are famous all over the world. Spain has 7,905 km of coast and over 3,000 beaches of all kinds, and is the world leader in the number of blue flag beaches.
There are beaches for all tastes, depending on the region, each has a different climate: beaches with cold water, surrounded by cliffs, beaches and beautiful coves surrounded by Mediterranean forests and warmer waters, wide and flat beaches surrounded by dunes and virgin vegetation, black volcanic beaches on the Islands Canary Islands as well as nudist beaches.
